Volunteer Placement Program
The Arab Community Centre of Toronto helps over 100 individuals each year contribute to their community and gain valuable experience through The Community Volunteer Placement Program. Volunteering with the Arab Community Centre of Toronto is a unique opportunity for individuals to gain a broad experience in many areas while contributing positively in their community.
At The Arab Community Centre of Toronto we believe that volunteering is a two-way street. We believe that individuals who volunteer their time and effort to serve the community should at the same time gain new skills. Through this program, individuals from various backgrounds can find a venue in which they can participate in their community, expand their network, update their network, update their job reference and improve their skills.
The Community Volunteer Placement Program at The Arab Community Centre of Toronto is available to Ontario Works and ODSP recipients, to High School Students, and to any individual who wishes to volunteer the time and effort regardless of their status.
